Sessions


Outline
Sessions will be 90 min long in order to accommodate an intake and a short visual assessment which will consist of walking, standing and movement. This will then be followed by work on the table and then close with upright seated back work that will focus on grounding and reorienting the body.

Your first session may run longer so that we can discuss your goals for the work, your medical history, and any questions you may have for me.

Preparation
Please arrive on time to your scheduled session prepared clean, sans any fragrances, hands washed and ready with your cell phone turned off.

If you find yourself hungry at least an hour before your session please eat something light. Drinking water before and after the sessions is recommended.  

What to wear
In terms of what to wear, do come prepared with whatever minimal garments or undergarments you feel most comfortable being in during the assessments and table work. This provides a more clear understanding as well as better contact during the table work portion. Athletic shorts as well as a tank top are fine if preferred. There will also be sheets used to drape over the body. Additionally, there is a heater and blankets also available for your warmth and comfort.

Payment
Please arrive at your scheduled session prepared to satisfy the payment requirement afterwards. Payments may be made via venmo or cash. I do not accept any forms of insurance at this time.  

Being present and knowing that your willing participation in the process is paramount to the effectiveness of your healing intention whatever that may be.

COVID-19 Protocol

I have chosen to work only with individuals who have been vaccinated for COVID-19. If you would like to work with me please be able to provide a photo of your ID with COVID-19 vaccine card or a link to your digital COVID-19 vaccine record prior to your first session. This decision has been made to ensure a safe and healthy healing environment for all of my clients and myself.

This being said, I still continue to enact and observe a mindful COVID-19 Protocol as outlined below.

As the practitioner, the following are my responsibility to you the client:

I will wear a mask, wash my hands, and sanitize all possible contact surfaces before and after each session. I will remove and wash all table linens after each session. I will take my temperature and screen myself for any symptoms an hour before sessions. If I have any symptoms, test positive or have exposure to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, I will cancel all appointments and notify clients immediately. 

I ask of all my clients to please adhere to the following:

Please check your temperature before coming to a session, if it is above normal and/or you are experiencing any other symptoms related to COVID-19, please notify me to cancel it or any upcoming sessions. Also please contact me if you have had any direct exposure or test positive for COVID-19.

I will check both our temperatures with an infrared thermometer upon your arrival.
